Decisione sacrosanta, ribadita dal recente articolo di Eisenberg sul Journal of Empirical Legal Studies - September 2008,che ammonisce i medici nel prescrivere statine in prevenzione primaria nelle donne, vista l'esiguità delle evidenze a favore di una riduzione degli eventi CV e quindi la possibilità di azioni legali da parte dei pazienti.
